Protocol Development Roadmap

One Metric Protocol is building a DeFi-native protocol for macro-aligned value and on-chain settlement. The roadmap is structued in five phases, each advancing the protocol towards a unified and transparent infrastructure for an asset-driven financial system.

Phase 1: Protocol Foundation

OMP introduces a protocol-defined DeFi base unit, built on non-discretionary core infrastructure on Binance Smart Chain. Immutable smart contracts manage issuance and redemption, while automated execution and on-chain verifiable reserves deliver transparency, solvency, and institutional-grade trust from the outset.

Phase 2: Crypto Metric Index Launch

The Crypto Metric Index (CMI) is launched as the protocol's first market-aligned benchmark.

It consists of a diversified pool of cryptocurrencies selected for their market significance and functional role within the ecosystem.

Transparent live price feeds and full on-chain visibility ensure verifiable and real-time alignment.

Phase 3: Research and Development of RWAs Tokenization & on-chain Settlement

Research centers on compliant real-world asset integration and on-chain settlement capabilities. The phase focuses on:

  • • Institutional custody readiness
  • • Tokenization and pricing framework exploration
  • • Cross-asset settlement foundations
  • • Introduction and launch of One Metric Reserve
  • • Forward contracts exploration
Phase 4: Deployment and balancing of Macro Metric Index

The Macro Metric Index (MMI) extends the protocol's index framework beyond crypto markets, unifying tokenizeds RWAs including equities, commodities and other traditional asset classes - into a single base unit of value.

OMP holders will gain significantly higher diversifcation and exposure to an asset-driven world. MMI will be more balanced and resilient, delivering a true base unit that preserve value.

Phase 5: Adaptation

The protocol evolves into foundational DeFi infrastructure through strategic integrations and continuous refinement. Partnerships, composability, and optimized holder incentives drive real-world adoption and utility. OMP becomes a practical, spendable unit of value — usable to earn, pay, and transact in everyday conditions — while progressive adaptation ensures sustained relevance in maturing on-chain markets.

One Metric Protocol (OMP) is an index-referenced digital protocol designed to track the performance of a defined asset basket through rules-based execution. OMP is not a stablecoin, does not represent a claim on any individual asset, and does not guarantee capital preservation.

All metrics, including index values, reserve data, proof-of-reserve calculations, and protocol statistics, are provided for informational purposes only and are subject to change. On-chain data and reserve disclosures are based on automated reporting mechanisms and may not reflect real-time conditions.

Participation in the protocol involves risk, including but not limited to market volatility, execution risk, liquidity constraints, smart contract risk, custodial risk, and third-party dependency risk. Historical or displayed metrics are not indicative of future performance.

Users are solely responsible for assessing the suitability of the protocol for their own circumstances and should seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
